Time never seems to work out.

Time is something that I seem to over think quite
often. I'm always thinking I wish I got myself out of
bed earlier or went to bed earlier and wishing I
could do more with my time, sit and read books and
expand my imagination. Yet if I look at what I tend
to do in a day I have plenty of time to do that and
more! I suppose I'm just being lazy at the end of the
day and I spend too much time on the net chatting on
msn or browsing the web. I guess I could cut down on
that but then there's alot to find out on the web too
be it a little less meaningful than a well written
book. Then I think about it some more and realise I'd
just get bored of it anyway after 5 minutes and go
back on the net. I suppose the only way I get out of
that feeling is to go outside and do things, keep my
mind occupied.
I think this blog post is actually a big ball of over thinking, surely if time was so precious I wouldn't be writing about something so off the wall. I guess I'm a lost cause, personally I think I just lack inspiration.
Thanks for reading... perhaps this blog will inspire you to do something good with your time. But make sure you leave some time to keep reading my future posts!

Social networking or no social life?
The craze for social networking at the moment is
something that quite amazes me but more so the
different forms it takes. If you look back into the
relatively short history of the web there's been many
ways to communicate 1 to 1 or in groups. If i keep it
simple you've had chat rooms, forums and then Im
programs. These I'd say were the settled forms of net
communication ( and obviously email too) with IM
being the one most people use almost every time there
online, it's a hub for direct communication with
friends and family but also the one I'd say was most
personal too.
Moving on from the established forms of web communication is the new web 2.0 style ways of talking to people and letting them know how you feel or what your up to. Sites / apps like twitter and pownce let you announce what your up to at that current moment to your group of friends. This to me could be clever if people used it all the time with all there close friends as it would save on txt messages and time if you were going out to a party or something you could just announce it and have just your friends see it so they could join you u if you wish, but I'm not so sure anyone is really that busy they don't have time to txt a friend and ask if there going out. Still it may have it's place.
There's also many video sharing sites that let you post blogs of your day or your thoughts but do we all really have time to watch these? Would we bother watching these videos even for our close friends or would we simply be too busy blogging and networking about ourselves! A the end of the day there's so many services that one could join to post information about ourselves and let the world know were here but my question would be do we really have time to keep them all up to date and view and comment on other people's posts or put another way can we be bothered? I guess if you read all of this blog post then your answer may just be yes infact you can be bothered. Leave a comment and let me know but only if you have the time!
